The eyesight is the sense that has the most impact on our quality of life and nearly everyone will experience issues with their vision in their lifetime. You might think that your eyesight is perfectly fine, but a lot of people are unknowingly living with an impaired vision. Headaches, tensions in neck and shoulders might stem from straining to see clearly.
This year, the Healthy Habits campaign from the Employee Foundation features a digital vision test and a new focus on grants related to eye health.
Digital vision test In collaboration with the Employee Foundation, the Danish non-profit NGO Fight for Sight has developed a digital vision test that was released on WHO’s annual World Sight Day 2021 on 14 October. You can test your vision on a PC, tablet, or smartphone at work or at home with your family and friends.
The vision test is made available on the website, where you can also find articles on the subject (in eight languages). Spend two minutes on the vision test and sense how clearly you see – even if you use glasses already. The test is free of charge for everyone.
New focus on grants related to eye health The tagline for this year’s Healthy Habits campaign is “We care about your eyesight” and to commemorate this, the Employee Foundation has earmarked funds for eye-related support.
In 2022 The Employee Foundation will support the following...
